On July 30, 2013 Howard County Deputy Jade Hughes, Dierks Police Chief Brian White and Chief Deputy Bryan McJunkins responded to a call at 1272 Tollett Road near Athens.  The caller reported that Lukus Duggan had pointed a gun at Brandon Parsons.  When the officers arrived they learned that Brandon Parsons had confronted Lukus Duggan about Duggan physically abusing his sister.   Officers learned that Lukus Duggan had a twenty-two caliber rifle and pointed it at Brandon Parsons when he confronted him. 

Lukus Wayne Duggan w/m dob-9-25-1976 of 247 Bissell Rd. New Hope, Ar. was arrested without incident and transported to the Howard County Jail.  Bond for Duggan is set at 10,000 dollars.
