2012 brings changes to the Howard County Sheriff's Office.

The new year 2012 is bringing changes to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office.   Hector Cortez has been hired as a deputy sheriff.  Hector has worked at the Howard County Detention Center for several years.  Hector has begun his training at the Law Enforcement Training Academy in East Camden.  Hector will be in training for twelve weeks.  Shantara Green has been hired as a Jailor/Dispatcher at the Howard County Detention Center. 

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office looks forward to serving the people of Howard County in 2012.  We will continue to do our best to make Howard County safe and a wonderful place to live.  We appreciate the help and support that you the public gives us in our law enforcement efforts.
