On July 30th, 2012 around 10:30 P.M. Howard County Deputy Steven Wakefield was patrolling on Mission Drive.  Deputy Wakefield had been asked to do extra patrols in the area around 964 Mission Drive.  Deputy Wakefield observed a vehicle pull into the driveway of 964 Mission Drive and he stopped the vehicle and when talking with the driver he could smell a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle.  Deputy Wakefield searched the vehicle and found a 22 caliber pistol.  Bethel has been convicted of a felony in the past.  Bethel was arrested for Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.  Bond for Bethel has been set at 5,000 dollars.
