On May 3, 2014 the Dierks Fire Department responded to a trailer house fire on 6^th Street in Dierks.  The structure was a total loss.  The fire department requested an investigation due to the burn patterns that were present throughout the structure.  The structure was owned by Avery Fatherree and occupied by David Bray.  The Dierks Police Department and the Howard County Sheriff’s Department took samples from the burned trailer and found that gasoline was present on the samples.

Several individuals have been interviewed and investigators learned that David Kyle Bray had asked another person to burn the trailer.   David Kyle Bray was arrested on August 13, 2014 and has been released on a 25,000 bond.  The investigation is continuing with more arrest expected in the case.

The case is being investigated by the Dierks Police Department, Arkansas State Police and the Howard County Sheriff’s Department.
