On Sepetember 3, 2012 around 3:15 A.M. Howard County Deputies Travis Turner and Steven Wakefield were patrolling on S.H. #278 near the Hempstead County Line.  The deputies stopped a grey Dodge truck for speeding.  While stopping the vehicle deputies could see the occupants moving around inside the vehicle.  The occupants were asked to exit the vehicle and they were acting very nervous.  The driver Wyatt Stephens was arrested for driving while intoxicated-drugs.  While Wyatt Stephens was being booked into the Howard County Jail the jailer and officers found suspected methaphetamine in his right boot.  Wyatt Stephens w/m dob-3/8/1964 of 125 D and J Drive #4 Nashville, Ar. is being charged with DWI-Drugs and Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance.  Stephens bond has been set at 50,000 dollars.
