Traffic stop on Highway 26 yields Methamphetamine arrest

On April 12, 2012 at approximately 10:17 P.M. Deputy Travis Turner was patrolling on Highway 26 near the Nathan Rd. when he observed a vehicle cross the center line. Deputy Turner stopped the vehicle and found that the driver, Jeremy Nolan, did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver and the passenger, Danny Fatheree, were acting nervous and the driver gave Deputy Turner permission to search the vehicle. Deputy Turner called for Deputy Joey Davis to come and assist him. While the deputies were conducting the search of the subjects a clear plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine was found on Danny Fatheree. Danny Fatheree w/m dob-3/25/1986 of 312 Head Rd. Murfreesboro, Ar. was transported to the Howard County Jail and is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Bond has been set at $10,000.
