Howard County Sheriff's Investigators recover stolen property and arrest four subjects involved.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating numerous thefts and break-ins during the past several weeks.   Investigator John Eric Glidewell received information concerning a stolen shotgun from Dierks and that started things moving that led to the arrests and recovery of five guns and numerous tools and shop equipment valued at several thousand dollars.  Several window air conditioner units that had been reported stolen were found to have been sold for scrap in DeQueen.  Some of the items recovered were stolen from Pike County.  Howard County officers are working with Pike County officers assisting them in helping recover some of their stolen property.

The persons who have been arrested are:

I would like to commend Investigators John Eric Glidewell and David Shelton for their hard work in getting these cases solved.  The investigation is continuing and more arrests are possible.  Some of the subjects arrested in Howard County will face charges in Pike County also.
